Description
Written on the head of Pete Singer's banjo was a simple message to the world: "This machine surrounds hate and forces it to surrender," and during his long life, Seeger was that machine. John Economos and Maxine Smith, Econosmith in their photographic partnership, were Seeger's official photographers in his later years.
