In his singular musical career, Jim Kweskin rose to legendary status in the Boston music scene during the great folk revival of the 1960s, but shortly after achieving national prominence, he stepped away in 1968 to live in a commune in Boston. This portrait by Charlie Frizzell captures the hippie spirit, the creative rush of color, music, and art.
