Seabrook occupation
by Susan Kramer, May 1, 1977
Seabrook, N.H., was ground zero for the anti nuclear movement, peaking in 1977 when thousands of protesters occupied the site of the nuclear power station at Seabrook, N.H., to prevent its expansion. Sue Kramer was a witness to one of the most heralded acts of civil disobedience in the post-Vietnam era, documenting the occupation up to and through her arrest (along with 1,413 others) for trespassing.
